“Banking Studies” Offers the “Qualification in Islamic Finance”

The Director-General of the Institute of Banking Studies, Dr. Yaqoub Al-Refai, said that the institute has offered a certificate program (Qualification in Islamic Finance IFQ), which is a professional certificate issued by the Accredited Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI), which is an official British professional organization with a global reputation and specialized in programs And qualifying exams for employees in securities and investment activities.

Al-Rifai stated that this program aims to prepare for the professional certification exam entitled “Qualification in Islamic Finance” specialized in Islamic banking and finance, and approved by the Capital Markets Authority, as part of the Professional Qualifications Program as a technical requirement for jobs that must be registered in companies operating in accordance with the provisions of Islamic Sharia.

He added that this program is an introductory introduction that allows the learner to understand the basics of the Islamic banking and finance sector, and provides a starting point for those wishing to learn about the concepts and infrastructure commonly used by banks and Islamic financial institutions to enhance the understanding of Islamic banking and finance practice.

He stressed the institute’s keenness to provide professional certificates with international accreditation, and the “IFQ” program is accredited by the British “Accredited Institute for Securities and Investment”, which is a regulatory body with international accreditation in relation to professional qualification in the field of investment and securities activities, as it is recognized by the The Capital Markets Authority in Kuwait, as one of the technical qualifications for some jobs that must be registered in companies that operate in accordance with the provisions of Islamic Sharia.

He pointed out that the institute is keen to keep abreast of training developments and assist the financial authorities in implementing the modern requirements of the higher supervisory authorities.
