In Italy 10,874 new cases and 89 deaths. Almost 145 thousand swabs


In Italy, at least since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic 434.449 people (+10.874 compared to yesterday, + 2.6%; yesterday +9,338) contracted the Sars-CoV-2 virus. Of these, 36,705 died (+89, + 0.2%; yesterday +73) and 255.005 have been discharged (+2.046, + 0.8%; yesterday +1.498). Currently the positive subjects of which there is certainty are 142,739 (+8.736, + 6.5%; yesterday +7.766) and are visible in the fifth column from the right of the table above; the count rises to 434,449 – as mentioned above – if there are also dead and cured people in the calculation, that is, counting all the people who have been found positive for the virus since the beginning of the epidemic.

And it is precisely there Lombardy the region most affected by the increase in cases with +2,023 new infected, holding the record of the most positive in 24 hours for the eighth consecutive day. There are three Regions with the most people being treated today: Lombardy with 1,268 hospitalized (yesterday 1,136) and 123 in intensive care (yesterday 113), Lazio with 1,196 hospitalized (yesterday 1,130) and 123 in intensive care (111), e Piedmont 1,037 hospitalized (yesterday 883) and 62 in intensive care (yesterday 61).
