Kuwait Finance House (KFH) sent a group of its employees to Silicon Valley in the United States as part of the “Forsa” program for Kuwaiti outstanding students, which aims to enhance the idea of an innovative digital mentality in them, to develop their creativity in the disciplines related to digitization and information technology, and keep pace with Developments in Fintech, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity.
The “Forsa” program and the extensive content it provides are in line with KFH’s strategic orientations and plans to enhance its leadership in digitization, which has become essential in its various activities and businesses. It also comes within the framework of caring for national talents, upgrading their professional level and refining their skills according to international standards and standards.
Forsa included advanced training programs, workshops and field visits to the most prominent and largest global technological institutions such as Microsoft, Google, Apple, Ripple and other technology giants, in addition to visiting the laboratories of the largest American universities. Advanced in digital transformation studies such as the University of California, Berkeley.
The program also included a field visit to the Innovation Center in Silicon Valley, and another to the international banking group “BNP Paribas”, and other international institutions and the prestigious “FinTech” companies.
The program included an extensive field presence in “Microsoft-Turkey” and in the digital pioneer, KFH-Turkey, which contains research and innovation centers within a team of hundreds of engineers.
Forsa trainees were introduced to artificial intelligence products, process automation, the smart branch, e-commerce financing, customer loyalty analysis processes, data science, and digital applications, as part of many programs designed to enhance digital innovation in financial technology among the trainees.
For their part, the trainees praised the importance of the program and the great value it has added to them that will be reflected in their performance in the bank, by implementing ideas that will contribute to developing and facilitating operations and designing digital services and products that keep pace with the requirements of the millennial generation, and confirm the excellence of KFH and its leadership in digitization and online services. And financial technology.
They pointed out that the most important thing that distinguished the program was the practical technical projects that were implemented away from the traditional academic lectures, the identification of methods of digital transformation of global institutions, the culture and the creative work environment stimulating, and the methods of avoiding the traditional mentality of thinking, and emphasizing flexibility and agility in performance within the culture of change and innovation. Continuous, with the acceleration and simplification of all operations and making them available online.
The “Forsa” program includes the most outstanding Kuwaitis and the first graduates in the technology departments of local and international universities. It includes training programs on the latest and best in information technology and its applications in the banking field.
